Tradewind Recruitment is partnering with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Hillingdon seeking to appoint a dedicated Student Supervisor (Behaviour Support) from September 2026. This full-time role is ideal for graduates, youth workers, sports coaches, mentors, or individuals considering a future career in education, psychology, social work, or pastoral care.

The Role
As a Student Supervisor (Behaviour Support), you will work closely with pastoral leaders, teaching staff, and students to promote positive behaviour, engagement, and wellbeing across the school.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supervising students throughout the school day, including breaktimes, lunchtimes, and transitions between lessons
- Supporting the school's behaviour and inclusion policies
- Working one-to-one and in small groups with students who require additional behavioural or pastoral support
- Building positive relationships with students and acting as a trusted role model
- Supporting students in regulating their behaviour and making positive choices
- Assisting with restorative conversations and behaviour interventions
- Monitoring student attendance, punctuality, and engagement
- Supporting students who may be experiencing social, emotional, or mental health challenges
- Liaising with teachers, pastoral leaders, and parents where appropriate
- Helping to maintain a safe, calm, and purposeful learning environment across the school
- Contributing to student support plans and behaviour monitoring processes

- A degree or relevant experience working with young people
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to remain calm, professional, and confident when managing challenging situations

- Excellent relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for supporting young people and promoting positive outcomes
- Previous experience in education, youth work, mentoring, coaching, sports leadership, behaviour support, or a similar setting is desirable but not essential
