We are looking for motivated and experienced Supervisors to join our team in Crawley, supporting the delivery of high-quality housing services on our Crawley Council contract for planned and reactive work.
This is a key role within our local operations team, responsible for ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest standards, whilst putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.
About the Role:
The successful supervisor will take ownership of day-to-day operational delivery, leading teams on site and ensuring works are completed to agreed standards of quality, safety, and performance.
You will lead by example and promote a positive team culture. Ensuring strong relationships with clients and residents are ongoing by being proactive, organised, and results-driven.
You will:

Oversee and supervise housing maintenance activities across the contract
-
Carry out regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance

Ensure works are delivered on time and within budget
-
Produce reports on performance, productivity, and operational activities
-
Promote and maintain high standards of Health & Safety and compliance
-
Drive excellent customer service through professional engagement with residents and stakeholders
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and support operatives to maximise productivity and performance
-
Plan and allocate resources efficiently across the contract

Ensure full compliance with H&S regulations, company procedures, and quality standards

Coach, mentor, and develop team members, supporting training where needed

Monitor company assets including vans, materials, tools, and PPE

Attend client and internal meetings as required

Provide cover for other Supervisors when necessary

Key Criteria:

Trade qualification (City & Guilds or equivalent)
-
Proven supervisory experience in a similar environment
-
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance (including COSHH)

Excellent communication and people management skills
-
Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving ability
-
Customer-focused mindset
-
IT literate with good written and verbal communication
-
Full UK driving licence
