Job Title: Supplier Tooling Governance Analyst
Client: Global manufacturing/engineering company
Location: Peterborough
Hourly Rate: £20.90 PAYE or £27.36 Umbrella
Duration: 6 months
Working arrangements: Fully site based
About the Role:
- Our client is seeking a Supplier Tooling Governance Analyst to join their Strategic Procurement & Planning Division.
This UK based role will provide essential operational and governance support for supplier-held tooling activities across a global footprint.
The position plays a key role in ensuring strong tooling governance, data accuracy, and compliance, while enabling senior procurement resources to focus on high value strategic initiatives that support suppliers, audits, and supply continuity.
Key Resonsibilities:
- Respond to day-to-day queries in the Supplier Tooling Management System (STMS) in line with established support processes
- Draft, update, and maintain Standard Work Instructions (SWIs)
- Assist with routine supplier inquiries related to tooling
- Support preparation for governance reviews, meetings, and audits
Key Skills:
- Purchasing background or strong procurement experience – mandatory
- Working knowledge of supplier tooling concepts and governance – mandatory
- Experience with tooling management systems – desirable
- Experience supporting audit or compliance-driven environments – desirable
