12 month Contract – Supply Chain Suppervisor
Warehouse, Logistics & Inventory (Team Leadership)
HRGO is partnering with a well-established manufacturing client to recruit a Supply Chain Supervisor. This role is ideal for a strong operational leader who enjoys improving processes, maintaining control and accuracy, and most importantly managing and developing people.
You'll provide day-to-day leadership and operational support to the Shipping Coordinator and Warehouse & Stock Supervisor, working closely with the Purchasing function to ensure material availability, smooth warehouse operations, and compliant, on-time dispatch.
What you'll be doing:

Coordinating daily supply chain operations to ensure uninterrupted material flow

Working cross-functionally with Production, Operations, Sales and Purchasing to align priorities and schedules

Monitoring stock levels, replenishment requirements, risks and shortages; escalating issues appropriately

Overseeing inventory accuracy, traceability, warehouse movements, cycle counts and audits

Managing inbound/outbound logistics, dispatch schedules, export/shipping documentation where required

Reviewing and reporting KPIs (inventory accuracy, OTIF/on-time delivery, lead times, shortages)

Supporting supplier performance discussions (pricing, lead times, service levels)

Driving continuous improvement projects, including ERP/MRP process discipline and Lean initiatives
What we're looking for:

3-5 years' experience in supply chain/logistics/procurement/manufacturing operations

Strong people management experience: coaching, performance management, setting priorities and accountability

Solid understanding of warehousing, inventory control and logistics processes

Confidence working with ERP/MRP systems (MS Dynamics Business Central highly desirable)

Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a proactive, solutions-led mindset
-
Export/shipping documentation knowledge is an advantage
