Description
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimising excess stock.
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
- Develop and maintain accurate supply plans based on sales forecasts and historical data.
- Analyse supply chain performance and implement improvements to optimise processes.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including procurement and logistics, to ensure a seamless supply chain operation.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to supply disruptions or delays.
- Maintain accurate records and reports to support decision-making within the procurement & supply chain department.
- Contribute to achieving company goals by aligning supply chain strategies with business objectives.
Profile
A successful Supply Planner should have:
- Experience in the FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and forecast demand.
- Proficiency in supply chain management tools and software.
- A solid understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a dynamic environment.
Job Offer
