Secondary Teachers (QTS) – Oxfordshire Secondary Schools

Role: Secondary Teacher (QTS)
Pay: Paid to scale
Contract: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible
Start Date: Immediately

The Supply Register is working in partnership with Acer Trust, recruiting passionate and dedicated Secondary Teachers (QTS) to work across a group of secondary schools in Oxfordshire, including Matthew Arnold School in Oxford, The Cooper School in Bicester, Icknield Community College in Watlington, and Wood Green School in Witney.

This is a opportunity covering general classroom teaching, day-to-day supply, and longer-term subject-specific roles across KS3, KS4, and KS5. We are particularly interested in subject specialists who are open to both general cover and longer-term placements with opportunities to go permanent.  

Key Responsibilities – Secondary Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5 
  • Assess, track, and support pupil progress in line with school policies
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the UK curriculum 
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
