Job Summary
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Tax Accountant to prepare, review, and file tax documents while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting knowledge, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately under deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable tax laws and regulations.
- Review financial records, statements, and accounting reports for accuracy.
- Calculate tax liabilities and identify opportunities for tax savings.
- Assist with tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities.
- Maintain accurate tax records and supporting documentation.
- Prepare quarterly and annual tax provisions and reports.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and communicate impacts to management.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors or advisors.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- ACCA, CTA qualified/ part qualified.
- Proven experience in tax accounting or public accounting.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
