Tax Manager | Group Tax Function | International Group | Hybrid, London Exciting opportunity for a first-time mover or ambitious Tax Manager to join the Group Tax function of a fast-growing international group with an expanding global footprint. Reporting to the Head of Group Tax, you'll help build the Group tax function from the ground up, elevating practices to listed-company standards across all taxes and jurisdictions. Broad exposure guaranteed: strategy, governance, Pillar 2 implementation, statutory reporting, and direct engagement with HMRC and the wider business. Roles and responsibilities: • Act as the go-to contact for the wider business and external advisors on day-to-day tax queries • Prepare group and company tax provisions to support statutory reporting, budgeting and forecasting cycles • Partner with the external implementation partner on the rollout of a new tax provisioning and Pillar 2 tool • Keep track of legislative developments and flag their likely impact on the business • Contribute to shaping Group tax strategy and embedding stronger governance around direct taxes outside the UK • Collaborate across subsidiary finance teams, external advisers, property, operations and transactional finance to spot improvement opportunities, manage risk and streamline processes
