Senior Tax Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CTA)

If you're looking for a role where you'll do more than prepare tax returns, this could be exactly what you're looking for.We're recruiting on behalf of a growing independent accountancy practice seeking an experienced tax professional to join their team in a senior capacity. This is an opportunity to combine technical compliance work with genuine advisory exposure, working closely with senior leadership on a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses and individuals.What you'll be doing
- Reviewing corporation tax and personal tax returns
- Supporting a range of tax advisory projects
- Identifying tax planning opportunities for clients
- Providing technical guidance to colleagues
- Building trusted client relationships
- Reviewing accounts from a tax perspective and ensuring work is completed to a high standard
- Contributing to process improvements and maintaining excellent client service
What we're looking for
- ACA, ACCA or CTA qualified (or qualified by experience with strong tax expertise)
- Previous experience within an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of corporation tax and personal tax
- Experience reviewing work and supporting junior team members
- A proactive approach and a genuine interest in tax advisory work
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
