Prospero Teaching is currently seeking passionate and dedicated Core Subject Teachers (English, Maths, and Science) to work across a range of secondary schools in Hertfordshire. These exciting opportunities are open to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs/NQTs) and experienced educators who hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
CONTRACT DETAILS Location: Hertfordshire Position: Core Subject Teachers (English, Maths, Science) Type of work: Teaching (Secondary) Contract or position start date: September 2026 Duration / Likely Duration: Ongoing / full academic year Contract type: Long term / temp to perm Full time/part time: Full time Salary: Pay to scale (dependent on experience) Hours: 8:00 am 4:00 pm, plus parents evenings
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential Experience teaching in UK secondary schools Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, or Science Up-to-date Safeguarding training (within the last year preferred)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold the Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one Provide two professional references covering the last two years (child-related)
