Music & Drama Teacher – Batley
A fantastic secondary school in Batley is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Teacher of Music & Drama to join their team on a long-term basis through Hays Education. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who thrives on creativity, performance, and inspiring young people.
The Role

  • Deliver engaging Music and Drama lessons across KS3 & KS4
  • Plan, prepare, and assess in line with school and curriculum expectations
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities, performances, and school productions
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive department and senior leadership team

Requirements

  • UK-qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience teaching Music & Drama at KS3 & KS4
  • Strong classroom management and a commitment to high-quality teaching
  • Ability to inspire creativity, confidence, and enthusiasm in students

Contract Details

  • Long-term assignment
  • Paid to scale (MPS/UPS depending on experience)
  • Immediate or upcoming start depending on candidate availability
