Teacher of Science | September Start | Full Time
Teaching Personnel is seeking a committed Teacher of Science to work in secondary schools across Redcar on a full-time basis, starting from September.
This role is ideal for a dedicated science specialist who thrives in varied classroom environments and is passionate about delivering engaging lessons that support student progress.
The Role
As a Science Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring students remain engaged, focused, and supported in their learning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Teaching Science to mixed-ability classes across KS3 and KS4
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
- Creating a positive and purposeful learning environment
- Assessing progress and providing clear, constructive feedback
- Supporting students with additional needs, including SEN
- Working collaboratively with school staff to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
This is a full-time opportunity offering consistency and the chance to gain experience across a range of school settings.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Experience teaching Science at secondary level
- Confidence delivering engaging lessons across KS3 and KS4
- The ability to adapt teaching to meet a variety of learning needs
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for education and supporting young people

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
