Tradewind Recruitment are actively looking for Teachers of Science to work at a range of secondary schools in the Medway area from September until the end of the year with the view of extending beyond!
Salary – £32,916 – £51,047 depending on experience and current payscale – PAYE
The role:
- Plan and deliver lessons across all 3 disciplines of Science to KS3 and KS4 students
- Create learning experiences that cater to the needs and abilities of all students
- Attend departmental meetings and parents evenings when required
- Monitor and record student progress effectively and provide feedback to support their academic growth and development
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge across Chemistry, Physics and Biology
- Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their best
- Excellent behaviour management skills
- Experience of teaching Science to KS3 and/or KS4 students
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
