Year 1 Teaching Assistant – Blackpool (FY1)
Full Time | September Start | £14.25 per hour
Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a Year 1 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in the Blackpool (FY1) area from September on a full-time basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young children and supporting them at the start of their primary education.
The role:
You will be supporting the class teacher in a Year 1 classroom, working with pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups. The role will involve helping deliver lessons, supporting pupils’ learning and development, and assisting with classroom behaviour to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
The ideal candidate:
- Experience working with children (school experience desirable)
- Patient, caring and enthusiastic approach
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Proactive and adaptable in the classroom
- Relevant TA qualification is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
