The Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
• Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences
• Provide one-to-one and small group interventions
• Support children with additional learning needs when required
• Encourage pupil engagement and positive behaviour
• Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment

Assignments may include:

• General classroom support
• SEN Teaching Assistant roles
• Intervention support
• Behaviour support positions
• Long-term Teaching Assistant placements
• Daily supply cover

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, youth work or similar setting
• A positive and proactive approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Relevant qualifications such as CACHE, NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning are desirable but not essential.
