About the Role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Alcester on a long-term basis starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students and making a positive impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across a range of subjects
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
- Support pupils with additional learning needs
- Help prepare classroom resources and assist with general duties
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant
- Essential: Experience within a UK secondary school setting
- A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desired but not essential)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
- Access to a car preferred
