Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Secondary School in the Bolton area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with proven experience in education to make a real difference in the classroom.
We are looking for a confident and proactive Teaching Assistant who can provide both academic and pastoral support to pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role will involve working closely with class teachers to deliver tailored learning support, assisting with small group interventions, and providing 1:1 support where required. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with young people are essential.
Please note: Only applicants with prior experience working in schools or within an educational setting will be considered for this role.
The ideal candidate will:

Have recent experience supporting students in a Secondary School setting

Be confident in assisting with a range of subjects across the curriculum

Be able to support students with varying needs, including SEND and SEMH

Demonstrate a genuine passion for helping young people achieve their potential

Be available to start immediately
