Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and development? We are currently recruiting enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a variety of welcoming primary schools across Cambridge from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons.
- Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning.
- Assist with classroom preparation and organisation.
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
- Support pupils with varying learning needs.
- Help create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience working with children is desirable.
- A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
- Relevant education or childcare qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
