Teaching Personnel
Teaching Personnel are recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in a range of primary and secondary schools across Wigan and the surrounding areas from September.
We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated individuals who are passionate about supporting young people and helping them achieve their full potential. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, or youth work.
The Role:
- Full-time Teaching Assistant positions
- September start dates available
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
- Working alongside class teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences
- Supporting students with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH
- Long-term opportunities with potential permanent positions
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with children or young people is desirable
- A positive, proactive attitude
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- A genuine passion for education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
