Key Roles & Responsibilities

Provide essential classroom support, ensuring pupils remain focused and engaged during tasks.

Run small-group phonic, reading, and mathematics workshops using structured toolkits.

Work closely with specific children requiring 1:1 behavioural or learning support (SEND).

Help prepare interactive lesson materials, learning resources, and seasonal displays.
-
Ensure a safe, supportive environment during outdoor play, lunch, and school assemblies.

Support the class teacher with general administrative duties and student progress logging.
Requirements for the Role

Prior experience supporting children, ideally in an educational, care, or coaching environment.

Good foundational qualifications (GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Mathematics).

A patient, warm, and highly resilient personality capable of dealing with varied learning needs.

An Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service (or readiness to undergo a check).

Strong team player skills with a proactive "can-do" approach to daily school life.
