Job description:
- Daily Rate: £14.63 p/hr
- Location: Bacup, OL13
- Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
Reed/ Lancashire teaching agency are seeking for 2xTeaching AssistantLevel 2 for a temporary position starting from September 2026 and is expected to last until the end of the academic year!
The role is required for 5 days per week from 08:45 – 15:30.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Main duties include working with pupils in KS2
- Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily lessons.
- Provide support to individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete their tasks.
- Work under the guidance of the class teacher to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Help manage classroom resources and setup for activities.
- Supervise students during non-classroom times including lunch and recess as needed.
- Contribute to the monitoring and recording of student progress.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold a Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Experience in a similar role within a school setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with children.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
