As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students aged 11–16, helping to create a positive learning environment where every learner can achieve their full potential.
About the Role:
• Support students aged 11–16 within the classroom, helping them engage confidently with their learning. • Work alongside teachers to deliver effective classroom support and maintain a positive learning environment. • Assist with behaviour management strategies to encourage positive student outcomes. • Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups of students. • Help students stay focused, motivated, and engaged throughout lessons. • Build positive relationships with students, promoting confidence, wellbeing, and academic progress. • Contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive school environment.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Previous experience working with children or young people (preferred but not essential). • A genuine passion for education and supporting student development. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with young people. • A proactive and adaptable approach to supporting learning. • The ability to work effectively as part of a team. • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
