Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in East London? We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to support a variety of primary schools on a daily supply basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children and are looking for flexible, rewarding work within education.
The Role
- Position: Daily Supply Teaching Assistant
- Location: East London
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Type: Temporary / Daily Supply
- Hours: 8:30am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
- Pay Rate: From £100 per day
- Working Pattern: Flexible – full-time and part-time availability considered
Key Responsibilities
- Support pupils in the classroom to help them access learning
- Work alongside the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and activities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support where required
- Assist with behaviour management and classroom organisation
- Encourage pupil participation, confidence, and development
- Support children with additional needs where necessary
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, or youth work setting
- A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A passion for supporting children's learning and development
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
