Company Overview:
We have a lovely new opportunity within a highly regarded, global private investment firm operating in a professional, fast-paced environment. They’re looking for a Receptionist / Team Assistant to join their close-knit and supportive London team.
Supporting a group of approximately 10 junior executives, this is a varied and people-focused role where no two days are the same. Sitting at the heart of the business, you will be a key point of contact for the team, visitors, and external stakeholders, ensuring the office runs seamlessly while providing essential administrative support. This role offers fantastic exposure across the organisation and would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, taking ownership, and becoming an integral part of a successful team.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, delivering a polished, professional experience
- Managing calls, emails and ensuring the office runs smoothly day to day
- Supporting with scheduling, diaries and coordination for the wider team
- Booking travel and preparing itineraries
- Processing expenses
- Setting up meeting rooms and supporting client meetings
- Helping with ad-hoc projects and providing general support as needed
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years in Reception / Team Assistant role
- Financial Services experience required
- Good understanding of Outlook and MS office packages
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive and hard-working
