Role: Team Supervisor – Legal

CRA Consulting is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-established and growing law firm in the recruitment of a Senior Personal Injury Fee Earner / Team Supervisor to join its successful Personal Injury department.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced personal injury professional looking to take the next step in their career, combining hands-on case management with supervisory responsibilities. The role would suit an individual with a strong background in claimant personal injury litigation who enjoys mentoring others, driving performance, and maintaining high standards of client care.
The Opportunity
Joining a well-respected Personal Injury team, you will play a key role in the supervision and development of fee earners and support staff while continuing to oversee a caseload of more complex claimant matters. The department handles a varied range of Employer's Liability (EL), Public Liability (PL) and Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims, and the successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring matters are progressed efficiently and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervising and supporting a team of fee earners, paralegals and support staff
- Providing technical guidance and assistance on litigated and pre-litigated personal injury matters
- Monitoring team performance, workloads and case progression to ensure service standards are maintained
- Conducting file reviews and ensuring compliance with internal procedures, regulatory requirements and client expectations
- Assisting with the training, mentoring and development of junior team members
- Managing a reduced caseload of complex EL, PL and RTA claims
- Assessing liability, causation and quantum on higher-value or technically challenging matters
- Supporting the department's operational objectives, performance targets and business development initiatives
- Liaising with clients, insurers, medical experts and other third parties as required
- Promoting excellent client care and maintaining strong client relationships throughout the claims process
Candidate Requirements
- Significant experience handling claimant personal injury matters
- Strong knowledge of EL, PL and RTA claims, including litigated matters
- Previous supervisory, mentoring or team leadership experience, or a demonstrable desire to move into a leadership role
- Excellent understanding of the litigation process and Civil Procedure Rules (CPR)
- Strong technical ability and confidence in supporting others with complex matters
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive and collaborative approach with a commitment to team development and continuous improvement
