We're looking for two hires: 1) Customer Success Manager (manage £600K-900K revenue, across mutiple banks) 2) Business Development / Sales Exec for a technology training and consulting company that is going places. You'll be working with someone that has been part of a data business that went from £5m to £80m revenue in 10 years; they have an amazing record and network into all the major banks across the city.
With an excellent reputation for providing tech training and learning solutions to banks, FS businesses and wider industry, our client has spent 15 years building its brand and is now at an exciting point in its development given the boom in AI and new technologies. The firm is 45 people and has seen double digit growth the past 3 years. They were acquired in 2021 and are part of a larger £100m+ group of companies.
The business 'upskills' workforces via projects and programmes of learning for critical technology skills such as coding languages, cyber security, cloud computing, software development and design thinking. This can be anywhere from a £500K contract to run Morgan Stanley's Tech training recruitment through to £100K working with the leadership of a major FS business to help them embed GenAI across their businesses.
Recently, a new Head of BD/Account Management has joined with a network across near every major bank and a background in customer experience and client-journey expertise and this hire will be working closely with them and the wider team to build new business.
We are looking for:
1. 2-6 years' sales expertise, with examples of account planning, account strategy and a record of achieving sales targets for the sales role; for Customer Success a more 'farmer' type role in Success or Client Renewals is fine
2. Relationship-based sales experience, crafting and curating sales delivery to a wide array of stakeholders (this is not hard selling); you'll be working at a very senior level and trusted to pick up and lead these relationships from Day 1
3. Knowledge of selling to a large bank would be a significant advantage and understanding of the different divisions and products a large bank sells (ability to navigate this type of business whilst selling)
4. Passion for technology and ideally experience with the disciplines mentioned in the brief and understanding of the terminology around technology training
5. Motivation to work for a small business and drive the growth of the company more broadly; someone open to leadership roles earlier in their career would be a great fit – there will be opportunity to run accounts, run campaigns and be very visible in the company
You will need to be in London 1-2 days per week for this role.
Salary depends on experience. The interval for customer success is 60-90K and for new sales/BD 40-70K + 20-50% bonus. Bonus scheme will depend on the seniority of the hire and can be discussed more at interview. We are open to a variety of profiles so if you're in the 40-80K bracket, please send us the CV.
