Technical Business Analyst (Contract) – Milton Keynes

We're looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join a growing team in Milton Keynes, playing a key role in shaping how the organisation uses systems, data and applications to work smarter.

What you'll be doing
In this role, you'll work closely with teams across the organisation to understand their goals and translate them into well-defined technical solutions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting deep-dive analysis of business requirements and spotting opportunities to improve processes through technology
- Partnering with stakeholders to understand needs and develop strong business cases for new solutions
- Collaborating with technical teams to design and develop IT systems, applications and data-driven tools
- Analysing and documenting business requirements, including detailed functional and non-functional specifications
- Producing and maintaining business documentation such as business cases, user stories and acceptance criteria
- Contributing to project planning, resource planning and testing strategies
- Leading testing and quality-assurance activities to ensure solutions meet both user expectations and technical standards
- Identifying and documenting business benefits and ROI, and supporting teams to realise those benefits
- Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including system architecture, data models and technical specifications

- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in a technology-focused environment

- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence, clarify and guide decision making
- A structured, logical approach to problem solving and solution design
