This is an exciting opportunity for a Technical Designer to join a growing and forward-thinking business where your expertise will directly influence project success. You'll work on a diverse range of construction projects, developing technical designs, collaborating with architects and contractors, and helping deliver innovative solutions from concept through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce 2D CAD drawings and technical design packages
- Interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Prepare technical submissions, specifications, and project documentation
- Provide technical support to customers, architects, and contractors
- Support waterproofing, drainage, and construction detailing
- Manage project documents using platforms such as Procore or Asite
- Attend project meetings and occasional site visits
- Support estimating and commercial teams where required
About You
- Confident using AutoCAD or similar 2D CAD software
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and commercially aware
- Construction, wet room, bathroom, waterproofing, or drainage experience would be advantageous
