Legal Secretary – Hertford
Full-time, Monday to Friday
Can be flexible with hours
Up to £25 per hour (weekly pay)
On-going temporary assignment – potential permanent role
An established law firm in Hertford is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary or Typist. Must have fast and accurate typing and audio dictation skills. This is an on-going temporary booking which is expected to run for at least 12 weeks, with the possibility of continuing longer. There is also potential for a permanent role if performance continues positively.
You will be joining a small, friendly, welcoming team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audio typing from digital dictation
- Producing letters, documents and correspondence
- High-volume typing workload
- General secretarial and administrative support
- Working closely with a small, friendly team
Requirements:
- Minimum typing speed of 65 wpm
- Strong experience in audio typing and digital dictation
- Previous experience within a legal environment essential – Conveyancing experience would be an advantage
- Ability to work full-time hours Monday to Friday
- Reliable, consistent attendance
Hours:
- Ideally 9:00am to 5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break
- Flexibility available: 10:00am to 4:00pm if required
- Full-time availability is essential
Additional Information:
- Free onsite parking available 3 days per wee
- Pay-and-display or free street parking (approx. 10-minute walk) on remaining days
