A highly regarded commercial law firm based in Central London is seeking a polished and proactive Receptionist & Administrator to join them on a temporary basis from late June, with a likelihood to extend past 2 months.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working within a professional legal environment and is looking for a varied role combining front-of-house responsibilities with wider administrative support.
The Role
Reception responsibilities:
- Acting as the first point of contact for clients, visitors and callers
- Maintaining a polished and welcoming reception area
- Preparing meeting rooms ahead of client appointments
- Checking diaries in advance to ensure meetings run smoothly
- Setting up meeting spaces, including technology and refreshments
- Supporting with hospitality arrangements when required
Administrative responsibilities:
- Providing general administrative support to the legal team
- Assisting with diary management and travel arrangements
- Supporting with documents, bundles and administrative tasks
- Booking seminars and internal/external meetings
- Assisting with ad hoc office projects and requests
- Occasionally travelling locally to deliver documents, lunches or refreshments
About You
- Previous reception, administration or professional services experience preferred
- Polished, professional and confident dealing with clients and visitors
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Proactive and able to use quieter periods effectively
- Comfortable taking ownership of tasks and supporting where needed
- Confident working in a busy but calm legal environment
