The RoleWe are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 EYFS Practitioner to join a welcoming early years setting in Sunderland.
This is a full-time temporary role for approximately 6 weeks, with the potential to extend or become permanent for the right candidate.
This is an excellent opportunity to support young children in a nurturing environment and be part of a friendly, supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the delivery of the EYFS curriculum
- Providing a safe, caring, and engaging learning environment
- Assisting with daily routines, activities, and play-based learning
- Monitoring and recording children's development and progress
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and communicating with parents
Requirements
- Level 2 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (essential)
- Previous experience working within an EYFS setting
- A positive, proactive, and caring approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
