Terminal Controller
Location: Eastham
Contract: 6-Month FTC, Potential to go perm
Salary: £40,000 £44,000 (after 3 months) £50,276 (full rate at 6 months if taken on perm)
Hours & Shifts:
- 45 hours per week
- Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Rotating shifts: 6am–2pm, 8am–4pm, 10am–6pm, 2pm–10pm
- 1 Saturday every 6 weeks
Overview Outsource UK are recruiting for a Terminal Controller to support operations at a fuel storage site in Eastham. You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient receipt, dispatch, and transfer of products while ensuring full compliance with safety and operational procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise product receipt and dispatch
- Ensure driver and site safety compliance
- Operate weighbridges and prepare shipping lines
- Support maintenance inspections and site housekeeping
- Respond to emergencies and follow site emergency plans
- Work in line with COMAH and safety regulations
About You
- Experience in fuel terminals or a similar process-led environment
- Strong safety awareness and ability to challenge unsafe practices
- Good communication and basic IT skills
- Comfortable working outdoors and occasional lone working
