Town Planner – London
£35,000 – £50,000 + Benefits

A leading planning and development consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Town Planner to join its growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated planning professional with at least two years of experience to work on a diverse portfolio of high-profile projects across residential, commercial, mixed-use and regeneration sectors.
Working alongside an established team of planning specialists, you will be involved in managing planning applications, preparing planning appraisals, liaising with local authorities and supporting clients through the planning process from inception to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
- Conducting site appraisals and planning research
- Managing relationships with clients, consultants and local authorities
- Drafting planning statements and supporting documents
- Monitoring policy changes and advising clients accordingly
- Supporting senior planners on major development projects
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience within town planning
- MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience gained within consultancy or local authority considered
