Position: Trade Engineer – Plumber (Multi-Skilled)
Salary: £39289 per annum
Location: 4040 Lakeside Birmingham, working across Coventry, Birmingham and Worcester
Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday – Thursday 10am – 6pm, Friday 10:30am – 6pm)
Key Responsibilities:
We are looking for a skilled and versatile Trade Engineer – Plumber (Multi-Skilled) to join our team. This position is primarily based in Coventry, with travel to Birmingham and Worcester as required.
This is a hands-on role suited to a qualified plumber who can:
- Undertake a range of trade tasks to complement the fulfilment of primary trade activities
- Carry out all works in line with applicable recognised regulations
- Provide on site support to trade engineers in the fulfilment of their duties, when required
Qualifications and experience:
- Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (essential)
- Craft City & Guilds or S/NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing (desirable)
- CSCS Card holder (or equivalent) preferred
- Full UK driving license and able to drive manual vehicles
- Sound knowledge of plumbing systems and associated trade skills
- Proven experience working within the social housing sector, delivering maintenance and building services in both void and occupied properties
- Demonstrable understanding of health and safety legislation, best practice, and procedures, with the ability to provide examples of maintaining compliance within a repairs and/or maintenance environment
