Job Opportunity: Traffic Marshalls / Labourers (x2) – Tonbridge

Position: Traffic Marshall / General Labourer (2 Vacancies)

Location: Tonbridge

Start Date: Monday 6th July

Duration: Temporary (Through to the first week of September)

About the Role

We are currently seeking two reliable and hardworking Traffic Marshalls for a busy construction project based in Tonbridge. This is a dual-role position; the successful candidates will be responsible for managing site traffic but must also be fully willing to assist with general labouring duties to support the site team when traffic is quiet.

Key Responsibilities

Traffic Marshall Duties:

  • Safely directing and organising all incoming and outgoing site traffic and deliveries.

  • Managing vehicle access and egress at site gates, ensuring minimal disruption to public highways.

  • Ensuring the safety of pedestrians and site visitors near vehicle movements.

  • Colloguing with delivery drivers and site management to schedule smooth arrivals.

Labouring Duties:

  • Assisting tradespeople and site management with daily tasks.

  • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment (clearing debris, sweeping up).

  • Moving materials and equipment around the site as required.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following:

  • Valid CSCS Card (Essential)

  • Valid Traffic Marshall / Vehicle Competency Ticket (Essential)

  • Full PPE (Hard hat, high-vis vest/jacket, steel toe cap boots, gloves, and safety glasses)

  • Two checkable finishing/work references from recent construction projects.

  • A strong work ethic, reliability, and a flexible attitude toward helping out with labouring tasks.
