Trainee Broker
Location: Hybrid (3 days office-based, 2 days working from home)
Salary: Negotiable, starting from £25,000 per annum
The Role
A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious insurance professional looking to develop their career in broking. This role will focus entirely on generating and converting new business opportunities from qualified leads supplied through marketing activities.
The successful candidate will receive support and training to further develop their broking knowledge and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Contact and qualify new business leads generated by marketing campaigns.
- Build relationships with prospective clients.
- Gather client information and prepare quotations.
- Present insurance solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Work towards individual and team sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records and client information.
- Liaise with insurers to obtain quotations and terms.
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the sales process.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within the insurance industry is essential.
- Knowledge of Acturis would be advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Motivated and target-driven approach.
- Ability to build rapport with prospective clients.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and develop within insurance broking.
