Trainee Material Stores & Driver – Job DescriptionWe are an AS9100-accredited precision engineering company with over 50 years of experience supporting the motorsport (including F1), aerospace, and medical sectors. We are looking for a proactive and motivated Trainee Material Stores & Driver to join our Operations team in Dunstable
What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the smooth running of the material stores
- Preparing, organising, and issuing materials to production teams
- Maintaining accurate stock and material records
- Assisting with light assembly tasks and basic equipment maintenance
- Delivering materials to suppliers and customers using a company van
- Shadowing and learning from the current Stores & Driver employee before their retirement
What You'll Bring
- Full, clean UK manual driving licence
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and organisational skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Training Provided
- Quality management systems (AS9100)
- Material handling and preparation
- Internal processes and documentation
Key Details
- Salary: £14–£15 per hour
- Hours: 39 per week + overtime
- Start Date: ASAP
- Environment: Precision engineering / manufacturing
