Trainee Quality Engineer – Job Description
Our client are a precision engineering company supporting the motorsport (F1), aerospace, and medical sectors. We’re looking for a driven Trainee Quality Engineer eager to build a long-term career in quality and precision engineering.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting AS9100 quality compliance
- Assisting with internal audits and documentation updates
- Carrying out visual and dimensional inspections using:
- Verniers, micrometers, height gauges
- CMM equipment (full training provided)
- Recording inspection data and ensuring full traceability
- Assisting with non-conformance investigations and CAPA
- Supporting continuous improvement activities
- Helping prepare FAIRs, inspection reports, and quality metrics
What You’ll Bring
- Basic engineering or manufacturing understanding
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication and organisation
- Microsoft Office skills
- A proactive, eager-to-learn attitude
Key Details
- Salary: £13–£14 per hour
- Hours: 39 per week + overtime
- Start Date: ASAP
