A well-established and growing independent financial planning firm based in Stockton is seeking a Junior Paraplanner to join their collaborative and client-focused team. This firm provides high-quality, holistic financial advice to a diverse range of clients and is committed to developing talent internally.
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for someone currently working in a financial planning support or administration role who is looking to take the next step into paraplanning.
You will work closely with experienced Financial Planners and Paraplanners to provide technical and administrative support across the advice process, ensuring a smooth and compliant client journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting Financial Planners with case preparation and research
- Producing suitability reports and financial planning documentation
- Conducting product, fund, and provider research
- Assisting with cashflow modelling (where applicable)
- Preparing review packs and client review documentation
- Maintaining accurate and compliant client records
- Liaising with providers and platforms to obtain required information
Requirements
- Experience within a financial planning firm in a support or administrative capacity, minimum 3 years
- Strong understanding of financial planning products and processes
- Working towards, or having achieved, Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or equivalent)
- Good technical knowledge across pensions, investments, and protection
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team
