Trainee Parts Advisor

Billingshurst, West Sussex – Full-time
Join a busy, friendly Parts Department within a well-established machinery company. Ideal for someone with parts experience OR a motivated trainee looking to build a long-term career.
The Role
- Supporting the Parts Department with day-to-day operations
- Identifying, sourcing and ordering parts for machinery and commercial vehicles
- Assisting customers over the phone
- Managing stock levels, goods-in and goods-out
- Preparing parts for workshop jobs
- Using internal systems to process orders and check availability
- Working closely with technicians and the service team
Requirements
- Excellent customer communication skills and telephone manner essential
- Agricultural machinery or automotive knowledge essential
- Computer literacy: Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Good time keeping
- Flexibility: Willing to adapt when needed
- Multi-tasking ability
- Organised
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment as part of team and independently
