Ortus PSR is a specialist recruitment consultancy working exclusively in financial planning and investment management — placing Paraplanners, Financial Advisers, Directors and C-suite leaders with firms across the UK. You'll join our Bristol team and learn the trade on a warm desk, with an established candidate list and industry connections already in place. That means real conversations and real momentum from your first weeks, not months of cold calling into silence.
You'll also be trained on AI-enhanced tools that handle the research-heavy grunt work — producing market summaries and tailored client insights — so you spend your time learning the part of the job that actually pays: building relationships and advising clients.
What you'll be doing
- Learning the financial services recruitment market from experienced consultants, with structured hands-on training
- Sourcing and speaking to experienced professionals — Paraplanners, Financial Advisers
- Building your own network of candidate and client relationships over time
- Supporting live assignments across high-growth SMEs, national IFA firms and international wealth management businesses
- Progressing towards running your own desk, with a clear route to full Consultant status
