Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting Trainee Teaching Assistants to work across a range of primary, secondary and specialist schools in Blackpool and the Fylde Coast, starting in September 2026.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with little or no school experience to gain hands-on classroom experience while being supported to develop the skills needed to succeed.
About the Role:
As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons
- Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
No Experience? No Problem!
We provide access to a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Course that can be completed over the summer, giving you the confidence and knowledge to hit the ground running in September.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
