We are looking for passionate and dedicated tutors to join our team in Basingstoke, delivering high-quality, personalised education to young people outside of mainstream classroom settings.
About the Role
As a tutor, you will:
- Provide 1:1 tuition in core subjects or functional skills
- Deliver engaging, tailored learning sessions to meet individual needs
- Support learners with a range of abilities, needs, and learning styles
- Monitor and track progress, adapting your teaching approach where needed
- Work flexibly across home, school, or community-based settings depending on placement
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months' experience working in UK schools
- Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths and/or Science
- Experience in tutoring, teaching, mentoring, or intervention work
- Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with young people
- Reliable, organised, and confident working independently
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)
