Customer Service & Sales Associate

Location: Thornaby (Hybrid Working)- 2 Days from home and 3 in the office
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 + Bonus

Responsibilities of a Customer Service & Sales Associate:

  • Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email and Microsoft Teams.
  • Convert incoming enquiries into sales opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with customers.
  • Follow up with customers after purchase to ensure an outstanding experience.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell additional products and services.
  • Retain existing customers by understanding their needs and providing excellent service.
  • Deliver online product demonstrations via Microsoft Teams.
  • Organise and support customer events and webinars.
  • Manage your own diary and prioritise your workload effectively.
  • Update and maintain customer records using the CRM system.
  • Work closely with Marketing, Operations and the wider commercial team to improve the customer journey.
  • Produce regular updates on customer activity and regional performance.

Requirements of a Customer Service & Sales Associate:

  • Previous experience within a B2B sales, customer service or account management role.
  • Confident communicating with senior business professionals over the phone and via Microsoft Teams.
  • A proactive, organised and motivated approach to work.
  • Comfortable managing a busy workload, including handling high volumes of emails and customer enquiries.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Commercially minded with the confidence to identify sales opportunities.
  • CRM experience is advantageous.
  • Eager to learn, develop and build a career within sales.
  • A positive attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
