Senior Ultra Low Latency Java Developer (Contract or Permanent) – London
Seeking an experienced Java Engineer with 5+ years of Core Java development experience and 2+ years building ultra-low latency systems . Experience with Aeron is highly desirable.
You'll join a team developing a high-performance electronic trading platform using modern Java, Aeron, FIX, SBE, and related technologies, with a focus on delivering microsecond-level performance.
Key Requirements:
- Strong Core Java expertise with proven low-latency development experience.
- Experience working on high-performance trading or real-time financial systems.
- Ability to identify and resolve latency bottlenecks using profiling and performance analysis tools.
- Commitment to writing well-tested, high-quality code.
- Self-sufficient with strong solution design and implementation skills.
- Clear communicator who can articulate technical decisions.
- Comfortable collaborating with traders, quantitative teams, and cross-functional engineering teams.
Tech Stack: Core Java, Aeron, FIX, SBE, Artio, Linux, performance profiling and monitoring tools.
Available on a contract or permanent basis in London .
