US/UK Tax Manager

cer Financial are working alongside an accounting firm and a boutique tax consulting firm who are seeking a US/UK Tax Manager to work with them on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage a portfolio of up to 100 clients, delegating work to junior staff and consulting Directors as required.
- Plan and deliver assignments efficiently, ensuring completion to firm standards before Partner/Director review.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of US tax legislation and firm procedures, applying technical expertise to client work.
- Provide technical guidance to team members and resolve complex client issues.
- Contribute to technical initiatives, including drafting guidance and supporting knowledge sharing.
- Assist with business development activities, including client pitches and presentations.
- Mentor and develop junior staff, monitoring performance and supporting their professional growth.
- Review junior team members' work to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with firm standards.
The successful candidate will have:
- US (Enrolled Agent / CPA) and UK tax qualifications (ATT / CTA).
- Experienced in preparing, reviewing, and filing UK and US tax returns.
- Demonstrated leadership through coaching and mentoring junior team members.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and UK/US tax software.
- Committed to sharing knowledge and promoting best practice.
