If you've been waiting for the right move rather than just any move, keep reading.
This is your chance to become part of a team that's recognised as a leader in its field and trusted by some of the biggest names in the market.
You'll play a key role in supporting a portfolio of leading energy and utilities clients, managing your own caseload of English law acquisition transactions from instruction through to completion. The work is varied and interesting, with a particular focus on acquisitions and leases of substations, radio sites and similar infrastructure, together with negotiating wayleaves, easements and deeds of variation.
From the outset, you'll liaise directly with clients, taking instructions and building strong working relationships while progressing matters efficiently and keeping them updated throughout the transaction.
Your responsibilities will include drafting and negotiating a range of acquisition documentation, carrying out title reviews and working closely with counterparties to achieve the best possible outcome. You'll also oversee the completion process, dealing with post-completion registrations, filings and reporting requirements, ensuring every transaction is concluded accurately and on time.
Alongside your transactional work, you'll assist with opening new files, preparing initial engagement documentation and ensuring compliance with anti-money laundering requirements. You'll also make full use of data rooms and online transaction trackers to manage matters effectively and keep clients informed of progress.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a highly regarded team working on complex, high-quality projects for household-name clients within the energy and utilities sector, where you'll continue to develop your technical expertise while enjoying plenty of client contact and responsibility.
It goes without saying you'll enjoy a generous salary, fantastic benefits that include a generous bonus, private medical insurance, the ability to buy additional annual leave and flexible/hybrid working.
