Project Control lead
Contract: 6 Months – 37 hours
Based: Warton
Day: £30.54 PAYE or £41.06 Umbrella inside IR35
Hybrid – 3 4 days on site per week

Overview
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Project Control Lead to join a high-profile FCAS (Future Combat Air System) programme. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering robust project controls across a complex and fast-paced defence environment.

The Job:

• Develop and maintain integrated project schedules, including resource and cost loading.
• Perform cost management activities including budget tracking, forecasting, EACs and cashflow reporting.
• Support resource planning and demand forecasting.
• Manage change control and maintain programme baselines.
• Conduct risk and opportunity analysis, including schedule and cost impacts.
• Produce project reporting, variance analysis, KPI dashboards and Control Account Manager packs.
• Provide project controls guidance and support continuous improvement initiatives).

Key Skills

• Strong schedule, cost and resource management experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Project and Excel.
• Experience with cashflow forecasting, variance analysis and integrated reporting.
• Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
