I’m working with a training provider looking to add a Vehicle Mechanics Trainer to their Automotive team near Reading.
Open to both current trainers and experienced mechanics / technicians looking to move off the tools into education.
Duties:
- Delivering Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance training to apprentices
- Teaching both practical workshop and theory sessions
- Supporting learner development and progress
Benefits:
- Full teacher training and assessing qualifications funded/supported
- £43,000 starting salary rising to once qualified
- Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm
- Modern workshop/training environment
- Not a term-time only role
Ideal background:
- Automotive / Vehicle Maintenance qualifications
- Strong hands-on maintenance and repair experience
- Good communication skills and interest in mentoring others
- Must be Level 3 qualified
