Salary: £34,000 Basic | OTE: £60,000+

Location: Tring

Hours: Full Time

The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a busy and successful dealership in Tring. This role offers excellent earning potential, ongoing manufacturer training and the opportunity to work with modern vehicles in a well-equipped workshop.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work to the highest standards while contributing to workshop productivity and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs
  • Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults
  • Completing vehicle health checks and inspections
  • Performing warranty and recall work in line with manufacturer standards
  • Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and accurately
  • Maintaining detailed job records and workshop documentation
  • Working collaboratively with the Service and Parts departments
  • Adhering to health and safety procedures at all times

About You

  • Qualified Vehicle Technician (Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Previous experience within a dealership or independent workshop
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • MOT licence advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Full UK driving licence
